Dubai Visa Requirements & Documents Guide
Everything you need to prepare before applying online for a UAE tourist, transit, or GCC resident e-Visa.
1. Passport Bio Page Scan
A clear color scan or high-resolution photo of your passport’s personal information page.
- Valid for at least 6 months from intended Dubai travel date.
- All text, MRZ code lines, and photo must be fully legible.
- Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP, or PDF (Up to 10MB).
2. Passport Photo (White Background)
A recent passport-style photograph matching ICA / GDRFA biometric standards.
- Clean white or light background without shadows.
- Full face facing camera with neutral expression.
- Selfie taken against a plain white wall is accepted.
Special Requirements for GCC Residents & Minors
GCC Resident Iqama Card
GCC Residents (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain) must hold a valid resident Iqama card valid for at least 3 months upon entry into the UAE.
Minors Travelling with Parents
Children under 18 travelling with parents must provide a birth certificate scan in English or Arabic if surnames differ.
